The Barcelonian is an illustration collective project. It pays homage to the legendary The New Yorker through the covers of a nonexistent magazine. More than 100 artists are invited to illustrate how they relate with Barcelona city.

I chose the book market, a second hand book market that exists only on Sunday mornings on the streets of Sant Antoni. It’s one of my first memories living in Barcelona and almost a never miss Sunday morning plan taking a look to different old magazines, photographies, posters and books.
