A collaboration for Femiñetas. Reflection from the anthropologist Margaret Mead about which was the first sign of civilization. She highlighted the importance about caring and community for the human species to develop.
Once Margaret Mead was asked which was the first sign of civilization. Was it an amphora? A sharp stone? A weapon?
A healed femur. The femur is the longest part of human body
A broken femur needs 6 weeks to heal.
A healed femur shows that somebody took care of the wounded person. They did they part from the hunting and the recolection
They stayed with her, they offered protection and company until she healed.
Where the law of the strongest prevails, there are no broken femurs
They made us believe we are a wolf to each other
But we know our packs are sustained by caring
