De-escalate sensations
During the pandemic we were lockdown for some weeks in Spain. This is a personal point of view about the feelings and the vibes when getting outside for the first time. At the beginning, we could only walk around during the sunset. I was living next to Montjuic, and that was my first going out, the slowing down, the quietness, meeting people after so much time isolated, felt really magical.
First day
No one could remember a sky so clear
Or the many birds flying
We finally made it out
As if it was the first time
Taking up spaces that used to be for cars
All seems more alive
There’s a deep silence
But that’s okay
No need to wake up in such a hurry
